Who We Are Looking For

CleanLaunch’s strength is working with three distinct types of early stage companies:

  • Pre-Revenue Technology – this type of company can range from an innovation developed in a university or research laboratory to the “bedroom/basement/garage mad scientist” who has an idea that can change the world.  Companies at this stage may not have a fully developed business plan, but have identified a legitimate market for the technology being developed.
  • Pre-Revenue Product Launch – companies at this stage have a developed (if imperfect) business plan and have “tested” their product.  For example, the engine has been “bench-tested,” the software beta-tested, the alternative fuel tested for viscosity at extreme temperatures, etc.  These companies are within 3-12 months of product launch.
  • Early Revenue – CleanLaunch helps early revenue companies with annual revenue from $250,000-$5 million.  These companies have gained some traction in the marketplace, but are facing barriers to growth and need assistance to get to the next level.

Are you a good fit?  Some additional things to consider:

  • Are you a business that is headquartered in Colorado or has a strong presence here?
  • Are you an entrepreneurial company with a high growth potential
  • Does your company have “disruptive technology”; in other words, are you a company who’s products or service are innovative - usually characterized by intellectual property
  • Do you have a management team that can execute and persevere, or a willingness to recruit such a team?
  • Do you have a completed business plan (or at least a solid draft)?
  • Are you a company with a compelling "investment opportunity" and a clear exit?
